Literacy
Our differentiated literacy & language arts instruction is provided according to individualized learning objectives devised from standardized academic achievement assessments in conjunction with ongoing progress monitoring and student performance.
Student-to-teacher ratios range from 1:1 to 1:10 and are dependent on student instructional needs. Our individualized instruction and differentiated curriculum approach provide students with opportunities to develop fluent decoding and encoding abilities through research-based, multi-sensory instruction designed to address deficits in language processing through progressive and systematic instruction stimulating the cognitive capacities required for decoding, fluency, and comprehension in conjunction with phonetic processing.
Written language instruction is embedded throughout the program using a tiered, cross-curricular method with simultaneous and progressive instruction in comprehension and composition.
